On 29 September 2023, Guofu Hydrogen Energy and Germany’s RCT Group have signed a memorandum on developing and building a hydrogen energy equipment plant in Berlin, Germany. The establishment of a local manufacturing base in Germany marks Guofu Hydrogen Energy’s official entry into Europe.

According to the agreement, both companies will jointly invest in the construction of a 1 GW hydrogen equipment manufacturing plant in Brandenburg by the end of 2026, to produce core hydrogen energy infrastructure equipment, such as hydrogen electrolyzers and hydrogen fuel station equipment.

The signing of the agreement took place at the former Berlin Tegal Airport, which is officially marked as a pilot zone for Berlin’s green transformation. Guofu Hydrogen and RCT Group will also co-produce an entire chain of hydrogen infrastructure equipment to serve European green energy industries, which includes hydrogen production, storage, transportation, fueling and more. Together, they will be able to deliver a broad range of hydrogen energy solutions, such as hydrogen fuel generation, hydrogen fuel station development and hydrogen fuel applications.

Both parties will work together to put the factory into production as soon as possible.
