The Innovation China Conference is an annual event organized by Shanghai Strategic Emerging Industries Foundation (SEIF), a not-for-profit organization founded in 2015 by CM Venture Capital with sponsorship from Mitsubishi Corporation China.
The mission of SEIF is to provide a platform to bridge the East and West, connect start-ups with Venture Capital, and to promote Open Innovation and Open Entrepreneurship.
With “Innovation and Entrepreneurship” as its core theme, each “Innovation China” conference invites thought leaders from academics, executives of Fortune 500 companies, start-ups, venture capitalists, and government departments to discuss, debate, share and generate new ideas on specific industries.
The conference is a great platform for connecting MNCs and startups, Chinese and foreign enterprises, capital and technology.
According to the 2023 Global Innovation Index of the World IP Organization, 24 Chinese science & tech clusters made it to the list of the top 100 science & tech clusters in the world, the highest of all countries. China is also becoming a major driver of global innovation, significantly increasing its R&D expenditure and leading in patent applications. The Innovation China Conference unravels the mystery behind the forces that’s driving the innovation revolution in the far east, while also bringing together top tech partners from the west to share market insights and opportunities.
The Innovation China Conference was started in 2015 as a not-for-profit event to unify the collaborative efforts in the innovation and technology space. It also offers a valuable lens into the cutting-edge tech landscape in China, as well as curated tech highlights from across the world, such as the US and Europe. Many corporations and entrepreneurs have benefitted from the one-day event, which has created opportunities, developed partnerships and opened new doors.
